5 fair days done, 5 to go (9 for work, 1 for fun).
definite highlight so far was mini sconuts, donut hole sized scones with nutella & marshmallow filling, close second was the maple bacon brown ale I had with the duck bacon wontons, which were also great.
double pork belly was good, but only the size of a slider, which was a bit disappointing.

korean bbq & oslo style tacos are in the lineup for later this week.

side note: ordered a BLT from the sandwich place, but didn't specify lettuce & tomato in my toppings, since i figured those were standard, got a bacon sandwich with cheese & mayo

At the state fair, so far I've seen a bucket of Lobster Fries and a Corn Dog rolled in French fries before it's fried that made me say wtf

are the lobster fries like chicken fries but with lobster?

 

I have no clue on the lobster fries, but I'm coming back for them after Third Eye Blind

Show was incredible, also Lobster Fries were great! Fries smothered in a garlicky alfredo-like cheese sauce, green onions, and a surprisingly large amount of Lobster

Guys, I'm at Red Robin's for lunch and I over heard the weirdest conversation.

"Yeah, can I get a Pepsi?"
"Unfortunately no, we serve Coke products. Would Coke be ok?"
"No, I refuse to drink Coke because I'm not racist."

Um... is Coke racist?

 

This might be the first person in history who *only* drinks pepsi over coke. Makes me think of those memes/jokes where someone says "I'll have a Coke" "Is Pepsi okay?" "Is monopoly money okay?"

Yes! I fucking hate Jeff. I was so excited when he almost went down in the elimination challenge and then somehow made some very good food.

Sooo football starts tonight, which means beer and apps season haha.

Tonight's menu is buffalo chicken eggrolls, pulled pork nachos and oven roasted brussel sprouts with bacon.

my co-worker in meat gave me terayaki marinated chicken for cheap yesterday so I'm probably just going to use that for something good.

this makes me wish i cared any bit about football, just to enjoy game food, haha

 

I put chicken and stuffing mix into the crockpot, sautéed celery and mixed it in with a sour cream, cream of chicken soup, and honey spread mix then dumped it into it.

Sauteed more celery in the same pot I then made green beans.
I had fun.

 

Tonight is the cowboy breakfast so I'm gonna go eat pancakes and eggs for dinner. Theres always a raffle that I lose and I'll probably die of smoke inhalation from all the fires going around cause its outside
