Can't wait to eat this.

preparing my body for 9 days at the state fair. need to research what all the best new foods are this year.

 

so apparently Oreo flavored M&M's are on the way!!!

 

we're looking at Duck Bacon Wontons, pork belly burger topped w/ more pork belly & slaw, and "Triple Truffle Trotters" (peppers and bacon with black diamond truffle oil mayo on top of waffle fries) for sure, plus some delicious sounding brews.

 

I've been starting to watch the hot ones thanks to Vince staples and now I'm desperate to find a good hot wing place that isn't BWW or Wing Stop.

 

Is it hard to find good wings in CA?

 

more so it's hard to find good wings in Fresno. I'm sure LA/SF are easy spots to find good wings.

same, haha. a few of my regular spots have some tasty ones on the menu, but i'm usually on a date and don't want to go all cave man going to town on wings.

 

There's this decently famous (locally, at least) wing place on Long Beach Island in Jersey called The Chicken or The Egg that I go to constantly while they're open (April-October). They were on Man vs. Food back in the day too. Best wings and incredible sauces there.

I know this doesn't help anyone in California, just felt like sharing haha

 

Having a really, really good wing place is a wonderful thing.

 

Yeah and that place is great all around too because it's basically like a diner, like their menu is enormous and has all kinds of breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. They just also happen to have a full page of their menu dedicated to wings and sauces haha. Also they have this cinnamon roll ice cream sandwich that is just crazy good.

 

Wow, I'm all about cinnamon rolls and that really does sound spectacular.

My place makes wings that get tossed with a splash of clarified butter and a good amount of montreal seasoning. They use smaller, organic wings which are always fried until very crispy. The wings are absolutely divine and I can't help myself. It's dangerous.
