Fuck. I don't know what recipe to follow haha. I'm looking at Ina Garten, Flay, Florence, SeriousEats (which seems unneccessarily complicated and un-Italian... to be honest, although, I'm sure the recipe is delicious), Nytimes... ugh what the hell am I going to do.

To anyone who doesn't know him, I suggest you check him out. His cooking is phenomenal and his videos are very helpful. I'll write something up and report on how they turned out.

I can't stop drinking McDonald's sweet tea

 

I love making this for breakfast, or in general really, when I have time. How'd it go?

 

I fucked it up. I think i soaked it for too long so I threw it away and ate a bagel.

 

Can't go wrong with bagels!

I usually dip the bread in the egg just long enough to cover the slice, then throw it in the pan. Gives it good coverage but it doesn't saturate it to the core. Better luck next time.

 

The recipe I was looking at said to do it 20 seconds on each side and I got like 5 secs in and knew that recipe was wrong.

 

i let that bread soooooak in the eggs and cinnamon.

 

Using flavored bread >>> regular bread. I love using the cinnamon swirl. Regular bread just isn't as good, unless it's from a good breakfast place

 

The bread was kinda thin too so I'm sure that had something to do with my failure.

 

It's been more than a month since I ate a burger and fries it really is hard to be on a diet. Sooner or later I will have a tail for eating too much fish.

I'm so happy for you guys. A lot of people associate their childhood with like, a certain movie or video game or something. I associate my childhood with Ruffles All Dressed chips.

 

Our italian restaurant is open but there's nothing about it online. Idk what the menu or prices are like and I'm all what if it's too expensive and I'm like "okay I'll take one breadstick pls" or I'll have to tell someone to call me so I can pretend like an emergency happened and I had to leave!

But 4 real they don't have a Facebook or yelp review or any trace that they exist aside from one article from a month ago saying that they're making an italian restaurant. Where's ur press?! I am the kinda person who likes looking at menus before I go somewhere so it stresses me out lol
