Yeah. Steak fries are just a cut of fry from what I've seen.

I'm stunned. I guess I am a bit obsessed with steak frites though haha.

I actually feel good about my cooking now because googling steak frites didn't lead me to a picture better than the one I have on my instagram.

The presentation did look great! And I'd still have the steak frites obviously hahaha I don't think it's like offensive or anything, I just prefer other potato options personally

My brother looked down on me the other day because I was really into chicken frites as well, while he insisted that mashed potatoes are a better option with rotisserie chicken, and I think at this point I need to keep my frites love on the inside and stop shouting it from the rooftops (or posting it on the internets).

I haven't done chicken-frites but I do think I might enjoy that more than steak-frites

With rotisserie I could see it working really well (obviously it works well in other situations haha)

If I ever open a restaurant, you'll be the one of the few allowed to order steak & mash, and not steak frites.

 

Fries on the side with any meat is fantastic, chicken included. One just has to go to any Portuguese barbecue restaurant to know that.
