i stand by McDonald’s fries being the objective worst. i love them but they are barely even a potato product so they are the worst french fry. be like saying a generic McDonalds patty is up for best burger. is that fuckin thing even beef?

it tastes good but there is a principle to uphold!

I can’t believe I’m about to say this...

But by this logic, In N Out fries would be the best cause they literally cut those potatoes in front of your eyes and throw em into the vat. Fresh as fuck. But this isn’t about freshness, it’s about taste. McDonald’s fries consistently taste good

 

But only when you dip them in ice cream

 

This implies they don’t taste good otherwise and uhhhhhhhh that’s not true

 

Compared to the others that I've had from this poll, I like them the least.

Mine are almost always cold and soggy

I tend try the fries first to determine if I should bother with them or not

I haven't really ever been trashed but the answer is always Whataburger

 

that's good policy, fries should be tried first. is there waffle house in texas? have you ever tried it? i feel like you'd be p stoked on it. you don't even have to be trashed to enjoy it, though i almost had my 21st birthday in waffle house lol. it was a surprise thing so i had no say in that everyone just knows how much i love waffle home

We do! I've always seen it as like a worse version of IHOP based on the clientele but alot if y'all rave about it that I want to try it again.

 

IHOP can eat my fucking ass, it WISHES it could harness the raw energy of a waffle house instead of coast off of the patronage of dying boomers smfh. i mean yeah, waho is open 24 hours so it definitely attracts more like stoner/drunken type after a certain time of night but it's just better in every way idk

there's a shopping center around here that has a waho and an ihop and the waffle house has a sign that says friends don't let friends eat pancakes and you know? maybe they're right (as it relates to ihop)

Yeah this is part of why in n out loses to me. They should be fucking great fries but they're not. It's like biting into a super red fresh strawberry and it tasting bad. On paper they should be top tier.
