The Commission on Delishin’ has been rocked to it’s core.

After a nearly week-long poll, an unprecedented bell-to-bell length, the dust has settled and two combatants just refuse to go down!

There will be a tie-breaker poll: stuffing v. mashed potatoes. 24 hours only.

AND YOU WON’T BE ABLE TO CHANGE YOUR VOTE

They are so different. I wouldn't pick either as my favorite component of the dinner. I have had great stuffing but I have experienced more great mashed potatoes than great stuffings.

Mashed potatoes are fine but you can way them anytime. Stuffing is a delicious seasonal treat

mashed potatoes are excellent but not a Thanksgiving food, plus stuffing perfectly compliments turkey the way mashed potatoes compliment stuff like meatloaf

I like stuffing, but good mashed potatoes (and gravy) is fucking manna from heaven.

There’s a reason people only make stuffing around Thanksgiving. It’s not that good. Vote mashed potatoes. One of the greatest side dishes of all time. Of all time. Of all thyme.

By that logic, every holiday specific treat is not good. Sorry, pumpkin pie! Turns out you aren’t that good cause people only tend to eat you once or twice a year!

Yeah, good stuffing is good. Mashed potatoes are good, but nothing new. Boring as hell.

    Eat stuffing, Ken.

Well, I LOVE mashed potatoes, but when it comes to TG, I gotta go with stuffing

But by that logic, holiday treats are automatically the best just because they come around on that specific holiday, which doesn't track. Yeah pumpkin pie is great, but it's still not the #1 best pie, even at Thanksgiving.

Sorry y'all, mashed potatoes and gravy just straight up taste better than stuffing. Thanksgiving ain't got nothing to do with it.

That’s not true. That’s a logical fallacy. His argument is that its lack of quality is reason for its infrequency which I argue isn’t true. Just look at all the other holiday treats that are good. That doesn’t mean that every holiday treat has to be the best, I’m just saying that the fact that it isn’t year round isn’t because it’s bad.

The question is, “what is the best Thanksgiving side” not, “what is the best food” and I believe that stuffing is the answer here.

    THIS IS SERIOUS BUSINESS

On my plate today I will have mashed potatoes and gravy. I will leave the butt juice bread where it sits.

I mean you can have any of these things any time, technically. I guess I make mashed potatoes so infrequently that it may as well be seasonal
