agreed. pumpkin isn't my favorite but it's soooo good with coffee. peach pie with crumb topping is prolly my favorite.
if i wasn't so lazy i would go find the quote i used from the condiments thread that talked about plato's allegory of the cave and my wisdom and blah blah blah you get the point john. i am always right
not always, but I can see that you might actually be redeemable, you even came over to the mayo side for a while because of the self doubt that you (acurately) have. it's ok to be wrong Dylan, but at least you're right on cobbler. I'm not really an expert in cobblers but is there a big difference between cobbler and pie? edit: google tells me that the main difference between pie and cobbler is that cobbler usually only has 1 crust either top or bottom and it's typically not pastry crust like pies. but who cares? it's delicious either way, especially with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top.
Not sure if I can properly articulate it. I think it’s just cause you have.....interesting opinions on food and I think “colbyyyyyy” just like they would say “arnolllllldddd.” That’s all I’ve got
I can't even pick one honestly. I used to always say cranberry sauce but I love them all. I am the only one who likes yams (I know it's a sweet potato but I always call them yams when they have the brown sugar and marshmallows, back off!!) and I feel so distraught. They're not being made at my dad's house because I am the only one who enjoys them. Thankfully my mom does too and she's making them at her thanksgiving meal so I'll survive.
Also, what makes something a casserole? I've only had green bean casserole. Does it just need to be in a casserole dish? Have some sort of Cream Of... concoction in it?? I enjoy buttered noodles but not for Thanksgiving. It's mostly like... I'm hungry and broke/lazy but I always have the ingredients for it so why not. My fave side is my dad's broccoli salad. He has perfected it over the years and it's amazing. I chose cranberry sauce because I don't eat gravy so I dip/mix things with cranberry sauce instead and therefore it is a staple.
