the stuffing my grandmother makes is like a drug and i only get it once a year

mashed potatoes are great too but i eat them frequently enough that they don't excite me

No one is arguing that mashed potatoes aren't great. I still just think that stuffing is a more versatile side dish. It can be made like a million ways. There are variations of mashed potatoes, and they are all great, but stuffing can incorporate far more flavors and ingredients and still retain the identity of stuffing. Add too much to mashed potatoes and it becomes like shepherd's pie.

 

ITT: people who have only had terrible stuffing

 

I will say this is the weirdest of the polls to get heated about, just about every option is good or at least tolerable

just make the right call, people

 

I'm way more bothered by people picking the wrong best thing than I am people picking the wrong worst thing
