I wouldn't say cornbread is gross but it's not something i am enthusiastic about. I guess it exists but I don't ever eat it and am never in situations where it's even offered.

 

in Texas it's everywhere and we consistently have the best cuisines of any state in the nation anyway...

 

Cornbread is hard to get right.

It's way too dry a lot of the time...

Though I do miss cornbread with a good cinnamon honey butter...

 

also consider that corn bread comes in a lot of varieties

 

When you get that moist CB with corn kernels in it, it's amazing.

 

I do like the corn casserole type thing. The stuff you can use an ice cream scoop with. Like what you used to get at ChiChis

 

I've only had it in the jiffy box
