I genuinely enjoy probably 90% of the food listed in this poll.

 

I'm voting stuffing but it's like picking a favorite child. I think stuffing is pretty versatile and open to a bunch of interpretations. @electro haikus version sounds amazing. I make a cornbread, cheddar, chorizo stuffing that I love.

 

Are scalloped the thin potatoes with cheese? They are inoffensive at best.

I want to know why the last thread was "Worst Condiment" and this thread isn't "Worst Thanksgiving Side." The context of the other thread was entirely different. It was set up to be a shout fest.

Ah, when I was broke and in college I would sometimes eat those out of a box. They certainly weren't great. I have had a homemade version of it which was basically just mac n cheese with sliced potato as the noodles and it was pretty tasty but didn't seem like it was worth the effort.

I think we vote with our hearts on this one. It's favorites, and i don't think there's anything that will make me as mad as people thinking A1 is good. Besides the buttered noodles.

Stuffing is definitely the best and what I look forward to the most that day. I would probably be happy just having a plate of that

didn't say it was my favorite overall. it's my favorite of the Thanksgiving sides. maybe I'm just happy to get it since I never have it otherwise. so if at a Thanksgiving meal, both scalloped and mashed were available, I'd probably go scalloped

and to be clear, boxed scalloped potatoes aren't great, but neither are boxed mashed potatoes. if you're not making it fresh, gtfo... powdered/freeze dried potatoes are for doomsday preppers.
