Made bulgogi style impossible meat rice bowls the last two nights with oi muchim (Korean cucumber salad), and a runny yolk egg. I could eat this every day.
I’d never used chilled vodka in my tempura batter before and I will never go back. By far the best I’ve made to date.
Crispy Halloumi With Tomatoes and White Beans Recipe Made this tonight. Pretty good! I'm on the halloumi train.
My wife got me two of my favorite things for my birthday yesterday. My favorite breakfast and my favorite cake! Both from King’s Hawaiian Restaurant and Bakery in Torrance, CA. Breakfast: The two egg plate. There’s a lot of different combos you can get, but I always get over-easy eggs, huli-huli chicken, Hawaiian potatoes and toast (which is Hawaiian sweet bread!) Cake: Hawaiian Paradise cake. It’s a three layer cake, each layer a different flavor. One is lime, one is mango and one is guava. So fuckin’ good Bonus pic: Another favorite thing of mine I got at the OC Fair last night, the Maui Chicken Bowl from Chicken Charlie’s. Nothing beats that incredible grilled chicken with pineapple
Has the price of pork suddenly shot up? I don't remember paying 10 bucks for 2 lbs of Walmart brand bone-in pork chops before
I’m not sure what Zankou is but it sounds like it! Made it with a ton of garlic, sunflower oil, salt, and lemon juice.
idk about pork but beef has gotten ridiculously expensive lately. It was over $20/lb for ribeye at our Hannaford when I last went. I feel like all meat is significantly more pricey at the moment.
