Thank you! I’ve been on a personal journey to master chicken tikka at home so it’s been a few years in the making, however this recipe pushed me over the edge from “good” into “great” Chicken Tikka Masala Recipe - Swasthi's Recipes the cooking down and then rehydrating and boiling the sauce, and cooking down again kind of blew my mind
Who is cooking up something good this weekend? I have covid right now, otherwise I'd be itching to cook.
nothing this weekend, i'm trying to figure out what to make for our neighborhood July 4th cookout. Usually do some sort of smoking/bbq but not sure if I still want to this year or not
I wound up splurging on lobster and steamers. More than I should’ve spent but they were big ones and hard-shelled.
I've gotten some sous vide premade meal bags you can boil from Aldi that are pretty convenient. One exploded into the boiling pot of water though, which was annoying lol. I've never tried with a home made dish
I’m making Claire saffitz’s cherry biscuit cobbler, pretty easy and perfect summer dessert and then a street corn salad for the 4th! The cobbler is always a hit!
Idk if I already posted about it but I made a tortellini caprese salad recently and it was easy and tasty and perfect for the warm weather
Very nice. Lobster and clams are a great summer meal. This sounds amazing. I'm going to look up her recipe now.
I think it was this one? I didn't do the balsamic glaze tho Easy Tortellini Caprese Pasta Salad with Balsamic Glaze | Lemons & Zest
Also what are people's favorite go-to easy dessert recipes? Not even picky about what kind of dessert. I've been making delish banana chocolate chip cookies when my bananas are ripe. But I'd like to have a few different easy dessert recipes to bring to lil things or potlucks when the opportunity arises
Yeah, it's just a potluck thing we do so whatever will work. Smoked mac n cheese is an interesting idea An easy dessert I love to make is banoffee pie. Just sliced bananas, dulche de leche, whipped cream, and shaved chocolate in a pie crust served cold
S'mores Cookie Bars (Recipe + Video) - Sally's Baking Addiction these are easy to throw together and always a hit! Sometimes I change up the fillings, I tried a white chocolate and peach s’mores bar with some peach jam and it was nice and summery. A berry would be nice too! I also always freeze cookie dough when I make a bake and bake those off when there’s an event. Bonus is you can easily turn them into ice cream cookie sandwiches too that everyone will love!
