Top: Fettucini w/ lamb ragu, mint, white verjus Bottom: Orecchiette w/ fennel sausage, kale, fennel pollen We also got some arancini. I believe it was stuffed with snap peas and saffron? KBBQ! Your shirt smells like meat afterwards, but it’s always worth it.
My friend says they taste like Publix popcorn chicken. I’m not from Florida but apparently that’s a good thing
Siberian Pelmeni. Dumplings w/ beef, pork, veal, and onion. These were amazing. Rabbit in a Clay Pot. Hindquarter braised in smetana, porcini, sour cherries, and garlic. Crispy draniki (potato pancake things) on the right.
I know a guy who makes the best chocolate chip cookies I've ever had AND they're vegan and gluten free and he always adds a lil sea salt on the top so I stole that idea and, taste aside, it makes me feel like such a fancy chef! He also gatekeeps that recipe smh
Goes for any dessert, really. I barely know what I'm doing when it comes to baking, but I know that if a recipe doesn't call for salt, I'm adding a small pinch and it's instantly better.
Sweet and Salty Grilled Pork With Citrus and Herbs Recipe Made this, served on top of rice noodles, and it was fucking amazing.
Made focaccia for the first time this weekend, didn’t get a picture but it turned out well. A few things I want to tweak for the next one but I’m happy with it for my first time making bread.
Wow this looks good, the salad looks phenomenal. Think I’ll make this soon but sub the pork for tofu or shrimp.
Made a great instant pot curry this weekend. If you google instant pop chicken curry, first thing that comes up is the recipe. the instant pot saute function sucks as itll burn, and if it senses burning while pressure cooking, it turns off. Started on the stove instead. Only knock against the device. Either way, EASY flavor packed meal that hit my Indian craving without having to get get it. Just need a few maybe harder to find spices depending on where you shop but highly recommend.
Also didnt post this that i also made. Seared Cod with a white bean puree and some sauteed lions mane mushrooms. No recipe for this one, just winged it.
