As a citizen of the greatest state (MA) I love a Fluffernutter. Putting butter on it is wrong though

 

I'd only do butter on the outside to grill it up a bit on a frying pan but otherwise an insane move

 

That's not an American sandwich, that's a New England thing only

 

I’m from Pittsburgh and have had a fluffernutter

 

fluffernutters are amazing. get that butter outta there though and toss in some sliced bananas

I have family that moved from Massachusetts to Colorado when I was a kid and apparently my cousin could never find Fluf in the plastic containers out there, only the glass jars, and he claims it isn't as good. One time, he bought some here, flew it back with him, and the change in altitude made it explode in his backpack haha.

 

Fluffernutters are good, but I would still prefer a PB&J

 

I just liked that he referred to the bread as "council toast", lol

 

Salted honey butter rolls and a white chocolate cranberry cake for a Friendsgiving! I can’t wait to try the rolls, they made my house smell incredible.

Had turkey at a friendsgiving on the weekend so went untraditional and made duck today. Sous vide at 135 for an hour, then pan seared. I then made a port wine and cherry preserve pan sauce. Served with balsamic glazed carrots and mashed potatoes.

 

Late post, but here was our Friendsgiving spread. Couple quiche dishes, stuffing, rolls, mashed potatoes, cranberry bbq sauce, smoked turkey, maple glazed turkey breast, salad, green bean casserole, and squash. There was also pozole and desserts, but I forgot to take pics. I contributed nothing to this spread, but I did bring alcohol and a nice Wild Turkey bourbon to spike the hot toddy with ha.


Also, couple snacks for pre-dinner mingling. Endive app, hummus, and candied pumpkin seeds.

 

Bonus post. Some dinners from this last month. Huge piece of fried chicken, tacos, and a cavatelli pasta.

 

man yall eat so much better than me. most nights i have just make a homemade snack wrap and call it good lol

I've recently fallen in love with raw pumpkin seeds. Candied pumpkin seeds sound next level amazing

 

I saw a tik tok with all of this months stuff at Aldi's and it all looks amazing

 

Made some Albondigas last night

 

Damn that looks good

I don't even know what that is but what I do know is that I want it in my stomach

 

Albondigas is a Mexican meatball soup and it’s wonderful. It hits on a chilly winter evening, especially if it’s from a good Mexican restaurant
