Awww yeah, my fiances parents got us a Ninja air fryer! We have zero room for it, so I guess it's good we both quit caffeine so we can just store our coffee maker somewhere... Tell me things to fry!
Huhh I see people online say cook chicken breast for like 13 mins but the ninja guide says over 20 mins. And frozen fries are 20-24 minutes? I thought air fryers were supposed to make things faster?
Get some stuff from Costco. Big bags of wontons and egg rolls. (and the bigger dumplings but those might need to be boiled first) Maybe stuff like wings and pizza bites as well. My mom also likes to cut up some tofu and potato to throw in there. We've tried carrot and squash but i think those are better stir fried with other stuff.
Speaking of ranch, I had a bomb ass mushroom burger and onion rings at a diner over the weekend, and they gave me this huge bowl of ranch that I barely made a dent in. It's probably ideal size for parties of four or something but I was there alone before a show. But yeah, diner burgers are always better than fast food for some reason. Doesn't matter if it's a mom and pop or something like Dennys/Chili's
So I'm low on food and forgot I have a big bag of frozen boneless, skinless diced chicken from Walmart. Any ideas on how to air fry it in terms of cook time and temp? I'm feeling too lazy to defrost lol. I have a Ninja if anyone else happens to have one.
haul from the local spicery today. they had bbq sauce samples out and the apple butter was so good but the peach heat one was good too so might have to go back for that
Looks great, I gotta try some different taco seasonings, I always just get the same Old El Paso that my mom served us growing up
Saw an easy recipe for my blackstone I’m gonna try today. Just hot dogs cut up using mustard as a binding then using either Kinder rub or Slap Ya Mamma seasoning. Just throw ‘em on. Also have some really good pre marinated steak from Trader Joe’s I’ll throw on as well.
Used that apple butter bbq sauce the other day (or last night I guess lol) on some leftover rotisserie chicken, slapped it on some Hawaiian bread with the apple butter bbq sauce and ranch dressing shit was bomb
My dads grilling today on the black stone, I have an agreement that my parents are to invite me over every time they use it lol
Lmao I’m literally eating a leftover pork steak my dad grilled today. He also did burgers since they had some people over. Like I said I make them invite me over if they’re cooking on it
Please allow me to make a suggestion--skip the taco seasoning packets and instead start buying individual seasonings and experimenting. Forgive me if you already do this, but it's something that's really helped my cooking. The packet is nice & convenient, and I'll buy them sometimes, but it's great to have a variety of chile powders on hand plus some cumin, garlic, and onion powder. Skip the generic "chili powder." Then if you're making some black beans on the side you can say oh I'm adding chipotle chile powder because it lacks depth or hey, let's make this grilled salmon caesar salad way more exciting by rubbing the outside of the fish with ancho chile powder and squeezing some lime on the fish after cooking.
