\ Royal Farms is gas station chicken and it's amazing, best I've ever had. I don't know where Royal farms exist, I've only ever been to one in Maryland.
oh yeah not trying to knock gas station chicken, every time I go see my parents in my small hometown I stop at Jack's and get some chicken strips, just thought it was funny that @RyanPm40 was like "idk where this came from but it's so good" when it's not even a real restaurant lol
Chili and garlic bread. Opted to the garlic bread but I got tortilla chips for the leftovers will be eating for like 3 days haha
Made crawfish etouffee and went a little overboard on the spice. Wicked good but I’m going to be hurting tomorrow.
Got a great deal on some beef short ribs. Suppose to storm tomorrow so next weekend on the smoker it is.
Already ate it but I made baked chicken breast cutlets with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder and basil, plus mashed potatoes, peas and corn and pretty proud of myself lol. I know it's not much but I never cook.. been doordashing wayy too much lately and it just feels nice to have a home cooked meal for once. And it was so easy!
Why Manchester, New Hampshire, Is The Chicken Tender Capital Of The World - Tasting Table Gotta say, I'm pretty proud to live near the chicken tender capital of the world
I've always thought the Puritan's chicken fingers were overrated. They're good but some people go nuts about them. I do like the fisher cats chicken finger uniforms though
How do I pan cook turkey burgers without burning down my house and filling the place with smoke? I got Shady Brook pre made turkey burgers. The instructions said to cook them at medium heat, 5 minutes on each side. I did that and halfway through, it was BILLOWING smoke and our kitchen reeked for two weeks. Kinda surprising, I cook regular beef burgers and ground turkey for my tacos at the same temp.
Try lowering the heat. Since turkey is lower in fat, use a good amount of a neutral oil. If you're using cast iron, might need to clean it better.
Not sure about neutral oils but all I have is vegetable oil spray and olive oil; would you say one is better than the other? I typically just use a light layer of spray
Vegetable is considered a neutral oil. Use that instead of olive oil, vegetable oil has a higher smoke point.
Haha darn, already used the olive oil . But I was a lot more liberal with it than I am with spray, and cooked at lower temp. They came out perfect
Made some chicken 'shawarma' last night for some wraps and it came out amazing. I would have marinated for longer and then maybe got a tiny bit better of a sear on some pieces, but overall, pretty darn good. They're chicken thighs (boneless / skinless) seared in the cast iron, baked, and then broiled. Here's the recipe. Tineats has never let me down. Chicken Shawarma (Middle Eastern)
