Had friends visiting, so I took them out to some Vancouver/Portland restaurants. doughnuts in a berry compote. Forgot to take a better pic of the actual doughnuts, oops Fried chicken and waffle from the same breakfast spot. The waffle was pretty standard, but the chicken was so good. Pizza from a brewery. Pepperoni, beer braised pulled pork, sausage, jalapeños, pineapple.
Double post. Wild Mushroom Ragu, Butternut Bolognese Liz-agna, and a giant ass Chicken Parm. The highlight of all the food. A popular Thai/Southern BBQ place in Portland called Eem. This is the white curry w/ brisket burnt ends. Next to it is the BBQ fried rice w/ mushrooms, shishito peppers, chili jam, and fried shallot. Also from Eem. Sweet and sour fried chicken w/ red curry powder and cilantro.
I work in product development and spent the last few months helping launch some new ice cream bars that I think are incredibly innovative and delicious! if you can find them at a store near you I’d highly recommend picking them up. I think deep sea is my favorite but the brownie batter is sooo good too.
What's the best energy drink? I feel like nothing I try works and nothing tastes good. I drank a cup of coffee in the morning and a watermelon Red Bull a few hours later and I still felt exhausted, and the latter was still kinda gross. The other day I tried a Monster latte and that was fine I guess, still didn't get the boost I wanted. Maybe caffeine just doesn't work for me anymore. Celsius is the last thing I remember sort of liking the taste of
The Seaberry Redbull is the least Redbull-tasting variant I've had and I love it. Tastes like a squeeze-it (I'm old).
Full disclosure though I also sell those brands for a living. Gfuel which I also sell, I would NEVER recommend lol.
I don't have a NY times thingy to view the whole thing so if you'd be kind and could send me the details... this seems right up my alley.
What's your preferred sub size? I was thinking about how Subway 6" isn't really filling enough but I can't finish an entire footlong by myself either. I don't really know where there'd be other sizes, I'm not too picky with sandwiches so I never bothered to look, Subway (with coupons) is just convenient Anyway back to the topic of energy drinks I tried another Celsius today and it definitely tasted better than any Monster or Red Bull I've had
I can't do a large sub as I think leftover sandwiches get gross. When the bread gets soggy, it's ruined for me and I can't eat it. I even get annoyed if I buy jersey mikes and can't eat it in 10 minutes as the bread starts to get wet and it's so offputting texturally that I end up eating around the soggy parts and throwing a lot away. It's really the only textural thing that bothers me. So yea, any sub size that I can eat in one sitting is the best which can include up to a footlong if it's not like a super monster loaded sub.
