That looks pretty good. May have to do that soon. Just did BBQ chicken breasts and corn on the cobb on the Pit-Boss tonight... I definitely need to utilize that thing more often.
I just have a hand grater/zester that I use for cheese as well as like citrus zest mostly bc I hate washing my bigger cheese grater
Got accepted into a role that will send me off to advanced culinary school and then go on to work for a general, sooooo that was cool news to hear today.
Wife made a nice pre turkey day dinner last night: Crab with garlic/siracha butter, chicken keraage over rice.
Having an unconventional thanksgiving meal of my fiances dad's homemade meatballs and I'm honestly way more excited for those than turkey. They're bomb. Going to my mom's Saturday for actual Turkey and she's made a million different desserts. Excited for her famous whoopie pies.
I love having a pastry chef for a mom. Was in the hospital over the weekend, so she just dropped off a bunch of desserts I missed from Thanksgiving. And of course a regular thanksgiving meal. Whoopie pies Canadian sugar pie Chocolate chip cookies Cinnamon sugar cookies Carrot cake
I made an enchilada casserole type thing I saw on the Safeway meal prep app and I feel like the recipe failed me. It had zucchini and bell pepper and I should've started cooking it sooner cause it didn't get soft enough. But it had me cooking the beyond ground beef first and then add the veggies but then the beef was done and veggies weren't But it is edible which I can't say for my last few cooking attempts
Im proud to announce that my wife and I are joining the air fryer community. Feel free to give me awesome recipes
I'm not much of a cook and kinda just go for frozen foods and doordash, but tonight I just made some of the best burgers I've ever made with cape cod chips. Even made a cocktail. Felt good to be in the kitchen, even if it was nothing crazy
I just wish I had more pans, or bigger better ones.. only being able to fit 2 burgers in a pan for two people blowss
The cuisinart stainless steel pans at TJ Maxx or home goods are always like $25 or under and are really nice. They have some bigger ones usually.
I am not a take pictures of my food guy like y'all, but I made a pesto carbonara with baked zucchini tonight and it was good.
This is so good. Rigatoni alla vodka. Homemade sauce was pretty easy. I cooked shallots with garlic diced up, added tomato paste and crushed pepper flakes. Added in some pasta water, heavy cream, parm, and added in pre cooked bacon that I cut up. I think maybe I should have added more pasta water cuz the sauce seems thick but it tastes so good. Topped with basil and parm.
Went to a nicer place for a work dinner and got this “decadent egg” and it was nuts. Sous vide yolk at the bottom with some pancetta crumbles topped with this rich but light potato foam. I’ve never had anything like it
