I need someone to make a recipe from alleyezonje on tiktok because he makes low cal high protein recipes and the comments are always about how delicious it is and they NEVER turn out for me. Is it a conspiracy or are these fake ppl or am I just that dumb like it's ridiculous lol
Also my tiktok is all about "girl dinner" and I'm like oh we have a new fancy term for being lazy? Cause I love when my bf works nights and isn't there to judge my dinner being a bowl of cheerios with a protein drink as the milk or just eating an entire can of peas. But I'm pretty sure men have lazy meals too.
Went to a local community beach festival thing the other day and got this pastrami on rye w/ mustard and sauerkraut along with bacon garlic fries from a food truck. I’m not gonna say how much I paid for this because it’s outrageous and embarrassing. Also, I’d already eaten half the sandwich before thinking to take a proper pic.
I have been really thinking about finally trying to make Sunday Gravy next time I have a lot of time on my hands. Haven't had it since before my late grandma got too sick to make family meals, and I have been craving it lately. I have done a pretty good job at recreating my grandma's meatballs before, but Sunday Gravy is like next level. As an Italian-American adult I feel like I am almost obligated to know how to make it.
Was visiting friends in San Diego this weekend. All these were pretty good, but especially the pasta. Breakfast carne asada potatoes w/eggs Spaghetti w/ pistachio, onion, pancetta, pecorino romano in a cream sauce. Chorizo chilaquiles. I realize now that all the chorizo is at the bottom of the dish and you can’t see it in the pic
I had today off so I made Sunday Gravy. Still not as good as my grandma's, but it still ruled. I made the right call using country ribs instead of other pork cuts, because now that I taste it I realize that is also my grandma used.
The light and fit Vanilla greek yogurt with some honey, pb fit, the peanut butter protein granola from trader joes, and whatever fruit I have around is so simple and good it's like god-tier and I eat it every day.
Just bought a griddle top for my charcoal grill and made one of the best takes on smash burgers last night, the oklahoma fried onion burger. Pretty simple too. Just add generous pile of paper thin onion slices (I used a mandolin) on top of your burger before smashing on the flat top, then you just do it like a standard smash, scrape and flip after a couple minutes then immediately one slice American cheese on and top bun over the cheese, bottom bun sitting on the top bun, close the grill to let things steam up until the meat is cooked through. Keep stray onions from burning by pushing them under the burger. I topped with my own burger sauce, pickle chips, and a big beefsteak tomato slice. Total cook time is like 5 minutes per burger. 10/10 worth all the equipment and prep. Wishing I had a commercial kitchen so I could do this all year but I'd put on 50lbs instantly.
