my friend hosts a biweekly pizza night at his house and i meant to take pictures of each pizza to post here, but i drank too many ranch waters and forgot. maybe next time

 

yes it is a snack and not a lunch, my salad was barely a lunch it was more of a side

My top 2 tasting foods I’ve ever had

1. Bacon
2. Oreos

No better flavors exist

 

I had to look that up cause I was imagining ranch diluted with water.

 

drink a portion of a Topo Chico then add three oz of tequila and 1.5 oz of lime juice into the bottle

I have never been happier that Google autofilled it in as a real thing that was not actual ranch water.

I know that they mean ranch as in like a ranch with cattle but I cannot see that word combination and not have a visceral reaction of disgust.

 

it is a disgusting name, no question there

 

it gave me flashbacks of washing dishes in a diner and spraying out the bottles we kept ranch in

 

My job had a food truck giving out free hot dogs on the other side of campus yesterday and I didn't know until after I was already back from eating lunch. I was bummed!

 

Does anyone here go to their state fair to try food? Iowa's is next month and has some of the most delicious/unhealthy food imaginable.

The most famous:

pork chop on a stick
bacon wrapped chicken wings

I haven't been to my state fair in probably 11 years but I do remember eating chocolate covered bacon

 

Yes we have the Eastern States Exposition (The Big E) and it's the greatest fair in the entire world. I've been going every year of my life and will continue to do so until I die

 

I haven’t been to a fair since before Covid and I want to so bad but I’ve been busy every weekend there’s one around us.

Uh @Matt food thread meat up at The Big E? Last time I went before Covid I drank so much beer out of a plastic boot and saw Carly Rae Jepsen. 12/10 would recommend.

At the Indiana State Fair they had donut burgers and I am ashamed at how much I liked them.
