Cooked some nice duck breasts last night (rubbed them with five spice, ground ginger, garlic powder, salt, pepper and mustard powder). Unfortunately don't have a pic of it cut open but it was perfect (in my opinion, I have a leftover I might take an interior shot off). I ate it with my new obsession... chili crisp! I tossed some fresh Asian noodles with some soy sauce, chili crisp and sesame oil and damn, it was good. The only thing it was missing was maybe some fresh greens, but I didn't have any so it was just duck, noodles, and sauce.
This looks amazing and chili crisp is the best condiment. I live by a giant Asian market and we always stop there just to get the big jar.
Just made a fried spam sandwich with cooked onions, cheese, mustard, kewpie Mayo, and dill pickles on Rye bread. I’ve never had spam before but that was a hall of fame worthy sandwich for me
I know I'm getting old, when I think 2 things when I see those tacos 1) AMAZING looking 2) can I eat them though or will my stomach go to hell?
made my own homemade guajillo chile sauce for arroz con pollo. My own pickled red onions. My own yellow rice. I wanted to feel like I was at a Mexican restaurant.
I can never get a picture that does it justice, but the Chile Rellano with Carne Asada burrito from La Azteca Tortillaria in East LA is the best burrito in the country.
