That’s my issue too! I always get the butter to separate at the end and I never had the patience to try to fix it lol
it just needed to mix for like a solid 15 minutes after everything separated and it held together so well but truly thought it was ruined for a while haha.
fired up the grill for the first time and made some Beyond burgers. toasted bun w/ special sauce (mayo, ketchup, mustard, garlic powder, black pepper, and habanero salt) on top and bottom, bed of baby kale, and a slice of tomato.
i've never enjoyed an entire bag of jerky. usually the first bite is good and then i never really want anymore. and yet i still buy it all the time. What's wrong with me? I get fooled by buzz word different flavors and think "ah this one will be great". I mean, i know what it is. An entire thing of jerky is very low in calories...so i treat it as a low calorie alternative to chips or sweets. But still!
I grilled some ribeye steak the other night, and the wife baked some asparagus w/ sweet potato. Also homemade cheddar bay biscuits
Does anyone have a recipe for vodka sauce they like? Tried this one last night and it somehow had entirely too much onion, a thing I didn't know was possible. Totally overpowers any other flavor. I think I might try it again and use less onion but figured I'd ask anyway.
https://www.seriouseats.com/recipes/2020/04/pasta-with-vodka-sauce.html I’ve made a variation of this before, but it’s not too much different from the one you posted. I didn’t use the blender when I made it because I didn’t feel like having to clean it but it would make it extra smooth
truly one of the best meals I’ve ever had. the eggs Benedict was on a biscuit with pancetta gravy and the waffle was unreal. fluffy but crunchy and sweet and buttery. 10/10.
Made these tonight in our Ooni pizza oven to celebrate Minneapolis doing the right thing today. Cannot recommend that oven enough. Second best thing I bought in quarantine behind only my JA-90 Telecaster, and a few slices of this and a beer are enough to make me consider it a tie.
4th week into tearing apart kitchen to do some appliance updating & renovation stuff, it sucks lol it's like I'm on a competitive food show. I'm super aggravated, can't find shit, don't know where anything is god damn I really miss relaxed, leisurely cooking. I mean I'm good but wife is already sick of the grill & it isn't even May
I literally could not recommend it more. It is super easy to use, fun to make, easy to clean and store and a huge hit with young and old alike. If you are on the fence at all, hop off and buy one. We're using ours tonight again and I'm already salivating.
