We are actually doing meatless March so I’m going to save that recipe. Anyone else have any good vegetarian recipes especially any with tofu?
Aldi has a ton of really affordable vegetarian/vegan meat subs and options. I love their quinoa crunch burgers and spicy meatless chicken patties. I like a lot of Half Baked Harvest’s vegetarian recipes, they’re usually pretty easy to make on a weeknight with minimal special ingredients.
One day I’ll work up the courage to actually try cooking something and post it in this thread. I’m really bad at it lol
Any other Anthony Bourdain lovers here? Read this great story about him and thought I’d share: What It Was Like to Eat with Anthony Bourdain
I forgot to take a picture of the presentation because I was too excited but I made birria tacos with consommé and just unnfffffff
Random meal I’m super proud of - mashed potatoes with pan seared salmon w/ butter/lemon/garlic/vermouth/anchovy/caper sauce
Grilled Cajun chicken legs with veggie dirty rice and homemade corn muffin. Even busted out the fancy plates.
made Italian buttercream for the first time and it’s a game changer. Not nearly as hard as I thought it would be and 10000x better than regular buttercream.
Does anyone have any good green curry recipes they can share? I have a lot of green onions and both chicken breasts and thighs
Awesome! I don’t have a stand mixer so Italian buttercream is the bane of my existence. Which recipe did you use?
Classic Italian Meringue Buttercream this one was super straightforward and easy to follow! I will say my kitchenaid mixer did 99% of the work haha. Also it did look like cottage cheese and I did think I messed up, but it came together and piped beautifully.
