Its easy, and adjustable, kind of like chili. Also great for when its cold *so like now in most places.
Kerala-Style Vegetable Korma Recipe Made some fire Veggie Korma tonight. Added paneer to the recipe because that's how the curry spot on the corner does it.
We love making a protein, rice, and a green vegetable for a simple weeknight dinner. Last night it was salmon and green beans. It’s fun to change up the seasonings too. For example, I tossed the green beans with sesame seeds, granulated ginger and garlic, sesame oil, chili flakes, and Shaoxing wine. Then we put sriracha, hot mustard, and soy sauce on the table.
Claire Saffitz’s carrot cake recipe with garam masala bc I didn’t have ground ginger and cloves. Added a little orange zest to the brown butter cream cheese frosting and it brought such a nice brightness to a heavy frosting. I loved her technique of soaking the carrots in buttermilk, it really made such a tender cake.
I bought a citrus red velvet cake for Valentine's Day. It is good but the frosting is amazing. Long live cream cheese frosting
I looked through my buddy's copy of Dessert Person recently and there were some pretty great looking recipes in there. I want to try her cinnamon roll recipe but I'm intimated (by all of them--not just hers)
I find cinnamon rolls easier than I thought to bake honestly! I think they take some planning just to let the dough rise twice but honestly not a super difficult thing to make!
Back for more Atlantic City recommendations this year, any good pizza spots near the Tropicana or Ceasars? Heard good things about Tony's Baltimore
Tony's Baltimore is a must. The pizza's good, not spectacular but you're going there for the incredible atmosphere - nothing really like it. Not many good pizza shops in AC. Tony Boloneys down by the Ocean is a cool spot to check out. They do crazy toppings you can't get at many other slice shops.
I back what Mark said about Tony's Baltimore Grill--decent pizza, ask for it well done. Personally, I'd skip Tony Boloney's. AC has a lot of great restaurants, but it's not the place to go for pizza.
Went to Tony's Baltimore with my daughter and her friend, I liked it and thought the place was cool but the kids were not impressed and thought it was sketchy haha. Seemed like a place I'd love in my younger days.
