his son is 16. he shouldn’t be taking over permanently now lol he literally isn’t done with high school. maybe go with rufus for a few years and if shane wants to then let him hop in. you could be ruining the kids life at this point throwing him out on the road. be serious.

Full concert is now on Paramount Plus. Only thing that was cut was the Oasis songs for some reason.

I can see Rufus being a good fit, would suck if that meant he had to leave The Darkness though.

Ok ok, who gave permission for Josh Freese to be THAT good. Absolutely unreal playing.

Guy can literally play any genre and play it all really, really well. He’s a beast.

I could see Josh Freese being the immediate fill in if the Foo Fighters plan to continue on.

Well shit. He hit the shit out of those drums. Like watching a young Taylor. Same mannerisms and facial expressions too.

today I learned he's currently drumming with The Offspring because they fired Pete Parada for not being vaccinated

I wouldn’t be shocked if Dave puts Foo on hold and does another Them Crooked Vultures album to clear his head. Plus John Paul Jones isn’t getting any younger so now is the time to do it.

working with josh homme right now isn’t a bet i think dave will be making when his PR is at an all time high lol

I feel Dave is pretty insulated from the consequences of any PR, or maybe wouldn't even be aware it might constitute bad PR.

If he was worried about PR he'd have skipped the Them Crooked Vultures reunion altogether and wouldn't have invited Dave Chappelle to open

that is a foolish belief lol, no one is immune from anything. chappelle talked for like 30 seconds and there's a difference between having someone who was also friends with taylor come sing three songs vs. recording an album and doing an entire press cycle with that person, who has retreated almost entirely from the spotlight bc of the heat on him

I can totally see this. It’s his favorite band he’s ever been part of. That or I can see him doing another supergroup band.

TCV is such a rad album too.

Watched the tribute on Paramount today and loved every second of it. I know it's not exactly a hot take but man Dave seems like such an amazing guy, and he's one of the most fun to watch musicians in the world

Also the Rush segment made me so happy

There is Nothing Left To Lose is such a great album. I’d kill for stuff like Aurora, Headwires, Live-in Skin, and Next Year
