Josh Freese on All My Life was incredible! Looking up festivals to try and see them now. With there was a shareable link to the all my life performance.
They are my mom’s favorite band not named Led Zeppelin or Aerosmith and she surprised me with tickets to see them in Birmingham in June which I was originally (and admittedly very wrongly) annoyed about because it requires using a day of PTO but she came over to watch this with me today and now I’m pretty excited
I want to see them live so fucking bad, they're probably my biggest concert blind spot now for how long I've been a fan of theirs. Was finally gonna happen this past summer before Taylor passed (although I fully understand the circumstances obviously) I really wish they were doing a full-on tour instead of festivals
I was told the other day (by someone who knows someone, so take this with a grain of salt) there's a good chance they're heading to Australia for a tour - if they're doing a full-tour of Aus at any point over the next 18 months, which is what I was told is likely, I'd daresay a similar tour across the states will have happen at some point.
Did anyone else here ever own that Vandals live dvd that had a special feature where you could watch the “Freese cam” for the entire set? That was 20+ years ago and he was insane all the way back then too.
I think they just have a few non-fest dates sprinkled in around the festivals. The show I’m going to in Alabama is the Friday before their Bonnaroo set.
Get a day pass for Bonnaroo…Foos closing out the festival unopposed should be a pretty great atmosphere.
Damn, didn't exactly love the verses but that chorus fucking rips. Really feels like these songs are running the gamut from self-titled all the way through the last record. Pretty cool
