Do we know if Illan recorded drum parts? Would be psyched to hear his take on a big stadium rock band’s sound. Still blown away by how incredibly inventive his parts were on the Paramore record. Fast in my Car is an all timer drum part for an opener.

 

I thought that was all from one song at first, and was like "holy shit this is gonna fucking go hard!"

I really hope this one sounds like Wasting Light. Not just the best FF album but one of the best pure rock albums in the last 25 years, period.

Most of what I heard in that teaser sounds like classic Foo to me. What sounds different to you?

 

I reeeeealllly hope this one isn't mixed to sound like a tin can but my hopes are not very high lol

 

I would say it sounds more raw and aggressive versus the stadium rock of everything post wasting light
