This is sound logic. Given the recent PR disaster Grohl had, you'd think his team would've had an air-tight plan of attack. And based on how publicized the band's past personnel changes were, you've got to give Josh more than a ham sandwich.
I don’t know what other way they should let go of someone. I don’t understand what’s going on in this thread lmao
Or maybe they didn’t want to say who it was in risk of it getting leaked because they’re pissed off? Not defending anything but I’m waiting until it all plays out. I’m sure Josh is upset.
If Taylor’s son gets put into the band, there’s no way Dave doesn’t do what he did with Goldsmith, and re-record his parts. If you’re replacing Josh fucking Freese with an 18 year old, you’re a looney ding dong.
1) Didn’t he join Scream at like 16? 2) I don’t think Dave Grohl is dumb about drums lol. I don’t get this thread today either.
Honestly, a great comment. I could see Josh being in several different bands as a barrier. But who knows. We won’t know much more until the Foo Fighters announce their new drummer.
I was kind of under the impression though that Josh was 100% on board with doing the Foos full time and would limit his session/other touring work going forward. But maybe that still wasn’t good enough for Dave lol
So... I've got an uncle that works for Roswell Records. He told me they've already decided on their next drummer: Scott Raynor It's shocking. I know.
I have honestly zero business paying attention to any of this, because I don't know that much about the Foo or Freese, but I am because it's drama around a huge band. but my first assessment is that it's hard to trust anybody who posts as many stories on instagram as this guy has today
Yeah, I feel like him trying to be cool guy and nonchalant undercuts whatever gravity his original post.
