Update: But Here We Are is now my fourth favorite Foos album behind Wasting Light. I do wish the album were mixed a bit differently, like if it were mixed like Wasting Light, holy cow. But the songs are all stellar.
The “One By One” covers b-sides are all very good and also mostly not available on streaming. Any b-side off FF or TINTL is also pretty great. I think they released most of them on Spotify.
Danny Says Darling Nikki Sister Europe Life Of Illusion Planet Claire I think most of those are on Spotify.
It’s good, if only just because the band’s playing in its comfort zone. The title track, “Sean” and “Savior Breath” all rip.
dave even joked about that on hot ones where sean evans was like "oh the song sean must be sick" and dave is like "it is not"
This album gets better and better every time I listen to it, I really don't remember ever wanting to go back to a Foos album so much since Wasting Light (and I was like 15 when that album came out lol)
Aside from the hits I’ve admittedly never dove into an entire body of their work before. This entire album is outstanding. Not one skip. Where would you recommend starting through their discography?
