I do think the addition of Josh also with Chris and Nate adding backup vocals is gonna be good for the band.
For me it's There is Nothing Left to Lose. Most consistent album in my mind and just a really nice 'warm' vibe unlike much else in their catalogue. Always listen to a couple of songs per album but as one of the worlds biggest modern rock bands I've never loved them as much as I essentially want to with each release, given Dave's love of and involvement with so many rock legends and respect of different genres. It's never translated much to their own music, possibly through lack of risk or commitment rather than ability. Really like the band and regularly stick on a few tracks but many of their albums post 2000 leave me a bit disappointed. Saying that it's 3 for 3 for the new singles for me so ready for a treat.
Song is definitely a trip, but I'm here for it. That chord progression during the "Hey kid, what's the plan for tomorrow?" is so majestic, love it.
These songs have all been great! Is the first time I’ve been excited for some new Foos since wasting light!
The Teacher is honestly the best song of their career. This song is an absolute movement. I've had it on repeat on all morning.
'The Teacher' is truly one of their best songs. But does anybody else hear bits of 'Heart's All Gone Interlude'?
Yeah I just listened to the two new songs and The Teacher right away is easily my favorite thing since TCATS
I broke down like fuck it let’s listen to The Teacher, then saw it was 10 minutes long. Nah I can wait a couple more days lol
