Was surprised there wasn't a thread for this yet. I'm pretty up and down on this band, but I'm completely obsessed with the single (song and video) right now. Very curious about the direction of this one. Also not sure if this is a teaser or the full song (could be an intro):

Was not expecting this kind of sound from them but I love it

 

So down with them going 90s-gaze-adjacent a'la The Cranberries, Mazzy Star, maybe even Catherine Wheel. This is beautiful.

Is this more in line with the sound of the record @Mary V ?

I’d say the 90s vibe is very much there in a few more tracks :)

 

I’ve never been huge on this band, but I was listening to a Glastonbury playlist and Starburster came on and I’m VERY in on that song

 

I will say, as much as I love both songs and the album art, I am NOT into whatever they are wearing/doing with their hair for this album cycle lmao

 

It’s been pretty fun watching their fashion just get wilder as they go on lol

I said I'd avoid this song because it was the closer and then I happened to be out at my parents' place last week the day after Favourite dropped... and the radio show we had on in the background fucking opened with it lmao

I can't get over how much I dislike the name Amyl and the Sniffers

 

Am I reading the video right that the main girl is Irish, hoping to show her culture's pride through it traditional dance but the English girls don't like this so they're berating her?
