Been listening to this band lately and for some reason the new album didn’t pop up in my new releases section of Apple Music.

This is really great.

 

Fog Lake doesn't truly hit me until I'm stoned looking out the window of a moving vehicle. Or before going to bed like right now, but for more ambient, I gravitated to There's A Spirit There's a Soul tonight.

Will listen to Captain again tomorrow foshooo. I love this band very much.

 

Didn't know this was out until @teebs41 posted it in the original The Emo Thread. I think on the whole I prefer this to 'Dragonchaser' but the peaks on that are better than this.

 

definitely feel like this hits more consistently than anything else

 

I like this a lot second listen but can't help but feel they've done this sound many times before. This is probably their best version of that one sound, if that makes sense, but I'd like them to take more risks in whatever they do next.
