Read this book in a single day last weekend. If the movie delivers on its potential it's gonna be nuts. At a minimum, Mescal is going to absolutely crush this

Man what the fuck happened here? Someone needs to pay for wasting a Mescal/Ronan combo and what they did to them with this. I still love them and some great cinematography, but awful script and dialogue.
Had a family viewing of this since the book was written by a family friend. Everyone who had read the book gave it between a 6-7/10. The person who had not read the book gave it a 2. Definitely some wasted potential here...
I haven’t read the book, but this felt incredibly predictable? Like I saw the twist and ending coming a mile away.
