I think Tourist History by TDCC is the best album of those 3 bands by a pretty wide margin, but Foals has the strongest and most consistent discography of the 3. And I’ve never really gotten into Bloc Party at all
I always think of Foals with Bloc Party and Everything Everything. Two Door Cinema Club?... how do they differ?
Every time I listen to Foals, I'm hit by just how much I enjoy their music. Not sure why I don't listen to them more often. Looking forward to the new albums!
Same here, and while Antidotes is my favorite I appreciate how they continue to evolve their sound with each album.
A Foals live show is right up there with the best you will see, so much energy and grunt. I saw Yannis stage dive off a second floor balcony into the pit years ago, still vividly remember it.
The thing about their live show is the fact that they played like 300+ shows a year for years on end on every album cycle shows. They are SO incredibly tight and in sync.
I remember they did something with a cassette release of What Went Down; limited number of copies were available, and 1 of the locations they had them was at the donut shop "Glam Doll Donuts" in my hometown of Minneapolis. So this doesn't surprise me.
