Good record, felt like the Denzel track felt really out of place though

 

Inside Your Home into Actually Virtual was great. This is very dense tho even for Fly Lo

I never got around to listening to You’re Dead! for some reason. I should prolly do that sometime

Los Angeles will always be my favourite. Saw him at some free fest in the East Village in about 2008 just after it came out and it. Was probably the best holiday I could have. Saw KRS-One and Boris at the same show too. But yeah. Los Angeles is my shit.

 

Still jamming the fuck out of this. Some of his best work imo

Seeing him tonight in Philly. Hope Tierra comes out.

 

Saw him on Monday and it was pretty wild

 

The Captain Murphy songs were fantastic last night. Had no idea he was that good at rapping.

Tierra actually came out, was fucking amazing. She also did her own song "Unemployed," performed entirely while crowd surfing.

Always sceptical about soundtrack/score work. That said, the two songs from last week were solid and if it’s more in the vein, it could be pretty good.

 

Flying Lotus’s Yasuke Soundtrack Is His ‘Full-Circle Moment’

Said he was using the same kind of keyboard Vangelis used for the Blade Runner score, so interested to see how he fits that into his sound.

26 tracks. Another Denzel Curry feature. Black Balloons Reprise is great, high hopes for that track.

 

Yeah, the Yasuke score is standardly great. It’s like a cross between a score and a beat tape, all done in FlyLo’s classic style. Really digging it.

 

Probably not something I'll go back to much, but I can dig it.
