semphore is my jam. didn't even know this was out. "(This is Why) I Can't Wear White" is one of my favourite songs ever.

 

this is likely in my top 15 at the very least

 

It's really enjoyable for what is essentially a collection of re-purposed b-sides. Some bonus music from Jenn is nothing to complain about.

 

oh yeah, i'm not complaining. i just think it's something you can't necessarily be "disappointed" in because they really are just spare songs and the band doesn't see it as a new record. sort of like those kendrick songs he put out this year

 

I think the main disappointment was it wasn't a real Wye Oak record, haha. You're spot on here.
