I'm starting to think it would be next week. It would be strange if this band specifically dropped on the same week as Deftones. That said, I don't hate the idea!

How is it? To anyone who has listened…

 

I still think it's kind of insane that this band is managed to hold onto this level of hype three years after a 28-minute nu-metal revival album lol

 

I gotta assume it’s because they are REALLY good live

 

Nah they're just better than most of these other bands. Everyone else is pretty much just hitting whole note maj7 chords with moaning vocals and thinking that makes them Deftones. These guys are unique and applying that general sound but within these cool metalcore song structures with live hardcore-style drums and a cool vocal dynamic that most bands don't have. They're doing something different and that's what makes them so great and has captured people's attention
