man it really is crazy to read that people think half of HB is "crap" it flows so perfectly for me and every song is a banger there is absolutely no filler on either of their records
I guess the best way I can put is that I think the s/t kinda sags from "heard them stiring" until blue ridge mountain. What's everybody's favorite track from HB. (Other than the title track which is just unreal) Sim Sala Bim might be my favorite and that's probably wildly unpopular.
Helplessness Blues is a perfect album and anyone that doesn't think so, that's totally fine, but you're not a perfect person with perfect opinions
I think I like self-titled more overall, but "Helplessness Blues" is a top 10 song of the decade for me so far, and is definitely their best work.

I don't care there seems to be a song with the word "ocean" in it so I'm all set, I can be patient!! In all seriousness, this is downside of being super cool and using social media to be very transparent with your fans. When the inside baseball stuff does inevitably go wrong most people don't get it.
Also just wanted to say I might be the only one but I think "Crack-Up" is actually a great album title

Seems I need to spend more time with HB. I've always considered the self titled my favorite but I honestly haven't listened to HB that many times. Playing it now though.
