This version is coming out on Record Store Day

RSD '18 Special Release: Fleet Foxes - "Crack Up (Choral Version)"/"In The Morning (Live in Switzerland)"

When Fleet Foxes visited Reykjavik last fall for the local Iceland Airwaves festival, they recorded this stunning version of "Crack Up", the title track from last year's critically adored album. Adding to the majesty of the song is Graduale Nobili, the 24 piece choir known for their work with Bjork. The B-side of this RSD 2018 single is a live take on "In The Morning" originally written by Barry Gibb, recorded at last summer's Montreux Jazz Festival.

Robin is deleting instagram to focus completely on recording LP4. Very excited to hear what their next album will sound like.

Crack-Up is a masterpiece but I don't return to it that often. Gonna throw it on right now.

$65 is steeep. Hard for me to justify but that ep and b sides look nice.

But for four pieces of vinyl, a photo book, and some cool packaging, is $65 really that steep? $50-$60 would be fair for just the vinyl alone.

I would consider this if I didn't already have self-titled and the Sun Giant EP on vinyl.

I suppose. However you can find a double LP of the self titled and sun giant for dirt cheap. Obviously you’re paying for the bonus stuff and packaging. Since I already own those....it rings steep for me.

Can’t wait for the solo record. All the clips he posted on Instagram sound fantastic. Robin is brilliant.

So it's confirmed these clips are for his solo or FF4?

According to his Instagram comments everything he’s been posting is his solo stuff. If I remember correctly LP4 has been written/finished for a while now. Just not recorded.

It’s been too long since I’ve listened to Crack-Up. Gonna start my day with it tomorrow.

I’ve been listening to Crack Up a lot recently. Mearcstapa -> On Another Ocean -> Fool’s Errand is such a fantastic run.
