A pastor (Ethan Hawke) of a small church in upstate New York starts to spiral out of control after a soul-shaking encounter with an unstable environmental activist (Phillip Ettinger) and his pregnant wife (Amanda Seyfried).

Just did. Hard to process the ending. Really need to see it again, not sure how I feel. Great performance by Hawke

Nice. I meant to see this yesterday but the theatre it’s playing at is a little far from me. Maybe on my next day off.

Opening here on Friday. One of the few upcoming films I’m actively excited about right now.

Supposedly the best movie of the year so far. Very interested in this.

Loved about 99% of this, hated the ending. Didn't ruin the movie for me, it's still one of the better films I've seen this year, but the end just made no sense (in the context of the film) to me. Maybe that will change as I think about it more.

There’s a ton of foreshadowing that’s really easy to miss that makes it less out of the blue in my opinion. I think some people have made in depth analysis videos already but I haven’t had a chance to watch them yet.

I interpreted the ending to be in his imagination as he’s dying

title says 6/22 is it out early some places? I can't see the trailer but it sounds interesting and moviepass enables me to see every movie my heart even hardly desires lol

I watched the trailer again after seeing this film and I'd recommend against watching the trailer if you plan to see this. I feel like it shows way too much.

The limited release started on May 18, not sure what the date in the title is in reference to.

I don't really know much about this. Watched the trailer but I'm still not sure what to expect. It's opening in my arthouse theater tomorrow so I'll probably check it out this weekend.
