I gave up on this being real at the end of 2021 but still think a whole album of Demitasse’s would be an all timer for me.

I truly miss this band

 

I have a feeling that Demitasse would have been HLP's version of the title track.

I just can't see this band entirely going that route, musically, for a whole record. I wouldn't want that either. Getting rowdy in an American Legion Hall to fast tunes is in this bands DNA.

 

Yup. And that song/teaser/whatever they posted as a video on Twitter? Ugh, a whole album of that vibe would have been incredible

 

I still believe it’s coming and that the state of the world has been a huge factor in the delay. Also being able to go back and work on songs and add to the record may have happened.

November 7, 2019. Other bands have gone through 2 album cycles since we first got teased about this one.

 

another day without this album. I sleep.

 

I'd love to be proven wrong but it kinda seems like there is no album.

 

I really hope we eventually get something from Fireworks again. I'll stand by Demitasse being the best thing they've ever released. Made me so incredibly excited for a new album.

 

I've given up. I bought Demitasse and turned this tweet into an MP3 and that's LP4 for me. It's pretty good!

 

They're just sitting on the best Fireworks album ever because the world isn't ready.

 

I wish they would just tweet something about what they're waiting for. If it's COVID I get it, just wanna know

Like I'm sure a lot of others can relate to, 2020 (and especially around that time) were so damn awful and I remember just bawling my eyes out when that clip/song was posted. Just felt so nice to have a little glimpse of light in a dark time.
If this is all we ever get from them, what a hell of a last couple things we got.
Fireworks forever and ever.

 

I get why they haven’t released anything. The last two years have changed so many lives so who knows where they are at right now and the members live in different areas of the country if I remember correctly. One of the most underrated and under appreciated bands of the last 15 years. We all love them, but they never got the traction they deserved. They released absolutely amazing music only to have their popularity falter because they chose to not release the same cookie cutter stuff that the genre’s fanbase gravitated towards.

 

It’s insane to me that it’s almost two years since they posted this video, I’ve long given up on this album ever happening but that video has really stayed with me

I would be unbelievably pleased if they were on a TWY tour.

I hadn't allowed myself to think about tour plans I saw the tweet and only thought about the album.
