Can’t believe this is the 2011 pop-punk album that has lasted the longest in constant rotation for me.

Yeah 2011 was unreal. This, Listen and Forgive, Suburbia, Separation, Wildlife, Under Soil and Dirt. War Paint, Parting the Sea, The Lack Long After, Clash Battle Guilt Pride… I could keep going but you get it.

anyone know where you can listen to Dave's side project Tea & Water? I wanted to listen to it when binging the band's discography due to Gospel's anniversary but it seems to have disappeared from Spotify and Bandcamp :/

I am once again thinking about all of the track-by-tracks done by this band.

I really hope that, if we ever do get a new record, we get another one of these.

  13. this is really cool. Given that omicron is receding now, I hope these guys have some plans in the works. I'm happy to be patient for HLP but also, it has been over two years.

Thanks for posting that. I had remembered the notes from the first album, but don't think I've ever read the rest from the other two albums.

I partially posted this just to document the Gospel and OCL Track-by-tracks somewhere other than their original AP.net articles that will one day be swallowed by the internet. I should really print them out and slide them into my vinyl jackets.

Going back through the lyrics on Gospel, which I've always had a very VERY high opinion of, and just WOW.

This band writes lyrics on par with The Weakerthans (but within the realm of being a Pop Punk band), and I really never appreciated them as much as I should have. Still not super certain whether Chris or David was the main vocalist.

Anyone know what happened to them dropping new music? That single a few years ago was a tease.

My assumption is that the pandemic and major vinyl shortage postponed the release.

Kyle had told me at the time that an album was close to done... idk what happened with it. maybe too much work.

  24. Afaik, it was never finished. Or at least wasn’t done as of a year ago.

some people have some demos of songs that were gonna be on it but that’s all I know of it.
