In terms of being "Fireworks-y" - It's got a lot of the things that make Fireworks stand out. I love the lyricism and the melody for the leads and vocals.

I really haven't given Empty Houses much of a chance - good music but I never remember them when it seems like something I'd be in the mood for.

 

I definitely missed this, thanks for sharing! So good to hear dave's voice in something new (to my ears at least) again

 

I'll now be listening to Fireworks for the rest of the day.

Oh yah. It’s brutal today.

I mean, some toxic characteristics from AP carried over. Out of all of them, I feel like band bashing has gone down. It sucks that it’s Fireworks on the chopping block, today.

 

Really? I feel like band bashing is the one thing I can count on here...

Tbh the Bonfires EP is the best

 

I remember seeing someone say that gloom was one of their worst tracks and I felt personally offended. If anything, Fireworks didn’t have enough deep cuts. I grew up in a legion hall hits me deep all the time.

 

Probably me, Gloom sucks and I'm glad they cut it

Everything works out for everyone but gloom

 

I remember I couldn’t get into this band for a good few months but suddenly everything clicked and the world made sense

 

Gloom is so thick on self-pity, I can't stand it. Like a whiny little kid. Gets under my skin every time.
