I wish they'd put the OCL sessions EP on Apple Music.

 

Yeah ever since I switched to streaming it's not the first track on the album anymore (since I made it that way on my Itunes) and it's def not the same

 

It makes Glowing cross a lot better for sure.

 

Dammit. Now i gotta listen to Oh Common Life

woods and one more creature dizzy with love are the best songs on the record and the best songs the band ever did imo

 

Title Track just really completes the album

 

the back window's down is a perfect song and my favorite fireworks song

Wearing my Fireworks hoodie today, listened to Oh, Common Life and like half of the first LP earlier today

I'm glad there's a corner of the internet where a dozen+ people are still discussing how good this band was

 

Really pissed that I missed most of an an active day in the Fireworks thread.

I have a really hard time with OCL - I can't really pick a favorite anymore. My only issue with the album is the pacing n the second half of the album, and that's just personal preference.

When I first started listening it was definitely a tie between Glowing Crosses, Back Window, & Woods.

The title track still gives me chills.

 

Those a-side tracks are probably the best imo

 

I love the way they reworked the bridge of Bed Sores so much

 

YES! That version pretty much changed my whole outlook on bedsores.

 

I didn't know they changed it...is there an old version floating around out there?
