Snagged a ticket for Detroit in case I can make it back home. I hope Detroit shows up better for this show than they did their record release show at El Club in 2023, shame on all the middle age sellouts.

It seems like the Funeralplant page is teasing something Fireworks related in their posts & stories

    hoping for new music

I fuck with this heavily. I have realised recently that Fireworks may be a top 5 band for me.

I’m not getting my hopes up but I loved the videos and teasers they released before HLP and think this looks cool so far too

Another album would be crazy, I felt lucky to finally get HLP and figured that was more than good enough to ride off into the sunset on.

(Not so) Fun Fact: on Bandcamp, All I Have to Offer is My Own Confusion is inexplicably missing When We Stand On Each Other We Block Out the Sun

16 years ago today I got to see Fireworks live. After this show, I was really hooked on the band — it all just clicked that night.

I originally went to London to see Gallows, but they cancelled. I found this show instead, and I’m really glad I went.

    Broadway Calls were also great.

First time I saw Fireworks was in 2008 when they opened for BC here. Had zero idea who they were and have been hooked ever since.

In case you missed it like me, the Philly show was moved to the Church and Into It. Over It. is opening.

I saw and couldn't be more happy about it. Will be my wife's first show ever at the church and couldn't be happier it's a fireworks gig.

Thanks for the heads up though!

Came back to this album over the weekend and absolutely love it. Woods II into How Did It Use to Be So Easy is such a good way to close the album out

posting this on chorus before i post on reddit or elsewhere:

my financial situation has changed and I can't get out to Chicago for the show :verysad: flights and lodging and everything are just too expensive.

because of this I have two tickets for May 16 @ bottom lounge that need a new home. Ideally I'd like to make back some $ (they were 34 each), but my priority is that they go to someone who loves the band/album and really wants to see the show.

if anyone's interested, dm me - Make me an offer if you'd like or just tell me a story about what fireworks means to you. I have the tickets as pdf and can send them right away.

Great show! A lot of energy and it’s always a bit surreal to see them. Strictly played the album and nothing more. I really liked the merch for the tour.

Definitely was shocked and bummed about no extra songs but the 35 minutes they did play was awesome and they sounded better and had more energy on stage than ever
