Picked this up on my way home from work, can’t wait to start it.

 

One of the coolest small details is the actually animated characters in the dialogue windows

 

Big same. Actually happened with Three Houses too for me, sat unopened on my shelf for a few weeks because I was completely sucked into BotW

 

fuck I love this game so much

 

Going to try and practice restraint and hold off on this until I finish playing some other stuff I had lined up first, but stoked to see people enjoying it

 

This is the most fun I’ve had with a game since botw

 

I’m playing on casual and a few of my characters died in battle. Now one of them is showing as level 1 in the next battle??

 

Did you upgrade them to the next class between battles? They start that class as. Level 1.

 

PSA: inherited skills don’t auto equip, you need to do so manually.

 

Oh maybe, just wanted to make sure there weren’t negative side effects for falling in battle

Have only played 3 Houses and bought Engage without reading any reviews, started playing at 12:30 and fell asleep at the menu, 1/10 don't recommend

 

Playing on hard/classic mode, so I expect to be resetting my game a lot like I did with 3 houses.

 

On around chapter 5 on hard mode+casual and a character has died in nearly every one of my levels so far, including the ones that are functionally just tutorials lol. So have fun with that

 

So do I get to marry Chloe at the end of this or what

 

Is everyone just generally keeping the emblem rings with the default people? I’ve done that and I gave Sigurd’s ring to Boucheron mostly to give him a movement boost. Don’t know if there are “right” people to match the rings with

 

I move mine around once in a while. If you make bond rings you don’t have to worry about it so much

 

She gets all my pebbles

 

and Yunaka gets my Spirit Gems

 

Etie is my main girl. Her and Celine.

 

There’s too many. I’m trying not to be weird online but I love all the characters already

 

It’s not our fault they programmed one piece swimming suits into the game lol

 

I named my spirit puppy Shida because it was 2am and I was looking around the room for inspiration and saw my Hikaru Shida figure hanging out on a shelf

 

I'm trying to be weird online so I named the dog Cumi.

 

Update: played through chapter 5 today on hard/casual and I'm being very liberal with my rewind crystals but boy is this fun.
