I should probably one day pick back up on Three Houses

 

I still need to do a Blue Lions run

 

Have still only done the black Eagle/crimson flower run and will probably wait until I’ve dug into my vast backlog before doing another run.

I feel like it will be hard to top that path, but I want to give another one a go.

 

My wife and I have done every route multiple times. It’s her comfort game and she loves strategy stuff. I watched her play maddening difficulty and it was so stressful just watching lol.

ive been wanting to do another three houses run as black eagles. i was going to do it after my run of conquest but honestly that game was so frustrating it burned me out on fe for a while.

 

Three Houses hasn't reached that level for me yet but Awakening was one of my comfort games for a while, and I'd probably say it still is. Around the time I originally played it, it helped me to deal with major depression/trauma so I'll always consider it super personally important

 

This fucking game is so good

The presentation in this is a wildly huge step up from three houses holy cow

 

It has been DIFFICULT not to keep flooding you guys with screenshots lmao, it's a wildly gorgeous game.

 

Damn, I probably won't get to this for a while because of other games I'm still finishing, but I'm excited to get to it.

 

Picked up my divine edition and lucky my store got the tarot cards enough for each preorder guy said. I had to bring it up or I wouldn’t of got

 

Man I think the reviews saying the story is lacking are kind of off, having a fully voiced protagonist has me much more engaged than three houses at points. yeah it’s not quite as deep but I love these characters and already feel strongly about my party (I’m on chapter 6) and how I hope for the best for each character based on their role. I couldn’t bring myself to try perma death mode yet but I’ll go there some day lol.

 

Also there’s much more to the emblem rings than I was imagining, the heroes actually hang around and offer convos and stuff I wasn’t expecting that

 

Having a protagonist with personality is great

 

This is definitely the prettiest fire emblem game. Even the maps look good
