I mean, if you're really good you can just go straight to Hyrule Castle and fight the remaining 2 beasts then Ganon, the divine beast shrines (and everything else really) are technically optional

 

I went to Best Buy and got them to match Walmart’s in store pricing of 49.94. I had $50 worth of rewards saved up as of June and wanted to use it for this game. Will begin my campaign soon!

i went Black Eagles but almost went Blue Lions, i like the Blue Lions students more overall but didn't want to join the religious house

 

Even though I will probably never play this I went to Walmart on my lunch break and no luck.

 

bought our first copy from target. so jealous of my wife rn. i have to go to work (to play board games though. not much work today).

but the LE might be arriving today tooo lets gooooo

i have played 5 hours and this is likely my GOTY haha i am obsessed with teaching, how do i reach these kids

 

i have exactly one criticism so far and it is what i feared in the lead up to the game - the environments are so realistic and blah, theres little vibrance compared to past games. but i have 70 hours to go so who knows

 

Currently waiting for this to finish downloading. I've never played a Fire Emblem game so I'm looking forward to trying it out.

Crazy to me how many people I've seen today say they've never played a FE game before lol

 

I have a few and I’ve never really “played” them. It’s so not my type of game but I always think that I will like it

 

What house is everyone picking? Just curious. I'm definitely going to spend too much time thinking about what I'll choose.

 

i can believe that, but yeah this franchise was so underrated for a long time. i remember when intelligent systems were releasing advance war and fire emblem titles back to back.

 

I definitely understand that these games aren't for everyone, just funny to me that people are just now playing the series for the first time when it started in 1990 lol
