Psh, I pushed aside Edelgard for Petra in my BE run.

 

I think the only time I heard it was from Hubert and it may have been in a paralogue

 

in my Golden Deer ending, Lorenz and Claude got paired up and they had a very interesting arc

realized we’re done with no spoilers season so I can share it.

after beating Nemesis, Claude went on to do schemes and left Lorenz in charge of the entire Leicester Alliance. some time passes and the Alliance and Almyra gets in contact with each other and hosts a summit to negotiate peace/friend treaties or something. so Lorenz, representing the Alliance, meets up with the mysterious leader of Almyra, which unsuprisingly is revealed to be Claude and they forge a friendship. When Claude and Lorenz were asked if this was their plan all along, they both denied it.

that was such a satisfying conclusion to Claude’s story arc

 

I guess, though her hatred for them shines through all the time

Maybe it came up but it wasn't a big enough part of the story in my play through for me to remember it I guess

You do, otherwise the choice doesn’t trigger. I skipped through the monastery that month so I didn’t talk to Edelgard and missed it

 

Lol in my 2nd run through I ended a month too quickly into the final battle because I didn't know it was the final battle and so I had a bunch of level 38s and a few 40s and it took me 55 turns and like 6 character deaths to beat The Immaculate One

 

to anyone who did the church route:

does edelgard actually die? i’m levelling her up and im trying to figure out if that’s necessary.

even Hubert? oh no. i need replacements then. i didn’t want to recruit anyone for flavor purposes but now i think i have to

they’re 2 of my best units. i grinded them to master most of the classes haha

Finished up my BE playthrough last night. Took 59 hours.

Caspar and Lindhart ended up together. Petra took Dorothea with her back to Brigid. Ferdinand and Bernadetta got married.

I married Mercedes (recruited her).

Gonna take a break before I do a Golden Deer playthrough.
