Going with Marianne on my second run; she needs to be protected.

Despite being on hard, my characters almost never miss their bow combat arts, while in normal it was a fairly common event. So weird. Also, Petra is now literally impossible to hit. I send her out to attract all the enemies in one area and none will hit her.

 

you can enhance this even more by getting Avo+15(when Waiting) ability from Flying later on

i know most people here have probably tried heroes and ditched it but if anyone is interested there's currently a pretty big event going in which 4 characters (this year it's alm, eliwood, camilla, and micaiah) have gotten new versions that are given away for free (1 pick per player), these units are specifically created to be top tier units and have lots of utility. additionally if you link your mynintendo account and have registered three houses in it you get a free 5 star male byleth (who is also top tier). there's also a banner going that allows you to pull hilda, petra, mercedes, and hubert at higher rates. so if anyone is interested in the game now wouldnt be the worst time to hop back into it.

 

Is Dancer worth it? I just got done with that part

i play that game on/off so I'm interested in getting free stuff.

 

he just showed up in my gift box after i regisered the game on my switch. there might be differences for people outside the us though.

I’m late to this, but I think Fates: Birthright is probably the easiest FE for those that are scared of tactics games, because of phoenix mode.

Which is weird because it’s so heavily implied that Jeritza is given the circumstances of him having that underground tunnel in his room and suddenly disappearing once the plot gets going. Maybe we’re just to assume that Jeritza is a fake name and Mercedes is just bad at recognizing him

 

Jeritza disappeared early on in my BE run and was never mentioned again

Same, I’m in my BL playthrough and he also just kinda disappears. His VA also does the Death Knights but that probably doesn’t rly mean anything.

Another character that just kinda disappears is Rodrigue

 

Did anyone have some of their characters get married at the end (other than MC and whoever you choose)? I just finished my first run through BE and Ferdinand and Bernadetta got married.

Also, just curious, if you chose a hetero relationship for MC does it say they got married or just spent their lives together? MC was a girl and I chose Edelgard and it said the latter.

 

Sylvain and Dorothea got married in my version.

 

Edelgard married Hanneman and I was like whatttttttt the hellll

Dorothea and Hubert got together too

I don't remember who else

No, Jeritza is like 100% the Death Knight. And Jeritza is also Mercedes’ brother Emile who I’m pretty sure she was estranged from as a kid so she wouldn’t recognize him? I know the game makes it seem like a red herring but it absolutely isn’t meant to be lol

You honestly don’t need any more evidence than the fact that Jeritza and Mercedes have the same hair color, which in the FE world unsubtly means an immediate family relation lol

 

i told my wife (who is BE) I’d beat the Edelgard mission in GD in 1 turn and I actually pulled it off lol.
